Archaeology volunteers in January 2005 excavating a Mikvah (Jewish ceremonial bath) adjacent to the Honen Dalim synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in the Americas. This was the first excavation of a Mikvah in the West Indies, and adds greatly to the history of the synagogue and the spread of Judaism during the Colonial period.
