In order to enhance our valuable research program that fulfills the goals set forth by SECAR (Preservation, Education, and Low Impact Development) any equipment donations as well as monetary grants are greatly appreciated.
Items of particular benefit would include:
Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) in order to survey our underwater archaeology sites.
A total station in order to survey our archaeology sites more efficiently.
A wide-format printer and or color laser printer (for publications)
Solar panels to recharge our mechanical sifter in the field.
Handheld Computers which would allow for more efficient record keeping in the field.
A magnetometer, fluxgate gradiometer and a resistivity meter.
A pH meter for soil samples.
A high powered binocular microscope with photographic capability for conservation and soil analysis purposes.
SCUBA equipment for SECAR's underwater archaeology program.
Wheel barrows, shovels and chainsaws.
Geo-textile to cover our excavation sites.
